After building a life most people only dream of, Jared Springer realized he was no happier than when he started. This set him on a mission to figure out why he would always catch himself saying, “I’ll be happy when ... ”
Jared Springer began his journey as an entrepreneur at the age of nine, detailing cars at dealerships after school with his Dad until midnight. The work ethic he learned would serve him well on the road ahead. As an adult, he found himself working a full-time job while struggling to run his own businesses until the day his body gave up on him.
He woke up one morning unable to walk. After being rushed into the emergency room, he was given two choices: have emergency back surgery, or never walk again. It wasn’t a hard choice. What followed would transform his life and his very being.
No longer able to work a job, he was forced into full-time self- employment just to feed his family. With $20, a YouTube education, and a dream of making a million dollars in one year, Jared Springer once more took steps on his entrepreneurial journey.
He began with books; he knew books. He went to Goodwill with $20, bought 20 books for $1 each, and listed them on Amazon. In turn, he sold them for over $50.
He repeated this process over and over again for months until he made enough to start his own brand and create his own products. Jared was hell-bent on achieving his goal of making one million dollars in one year ... and he did.
After building businesses from scratch and selling them, Jared realized that he had some very unique skills. Combining those skills with clinical burnout from the business world drove him to start writing a tale of self-discovery to determine the direction to point his life.
As he began to tell his story on paper, he realized that his book could help other people who were making the same mistake of delaying life’s enjoyment until reaching a certain point. His experience taught him that even when people reach their “I’ll be happy when” point, they still wouldn’t be happy unless they figure out what makes them tick.
He realized quite a few things while writing this book. One thing in particular is that he loves teaching and watching other people grow. He gains more enjoyment from seeing other people become successful than from his own achievements. He also realized his innate ability to see what others can't—especially when it comes to mindset, business,
and marketing, and how all three are inextricably intertwined.
Since these discoveries, Jared has been coaching, teaching, and helping others from all over the world learn how to find happiness while expanding their business and increasing their income in the process.
Jared Springer has lived in every corner of the U.S. He was born in Wisconsin, grew up in California, moved to Florida, followed by Georgia, and eventually found his way back to his birthplace. Currently, he resides in St. George, Utah with his wife Sara and two children, Sebastian and Isaac.
Defining My Happiness is a Community, It’s an Education platform with Courses, and It’s a place where We do Weekly Live Trainings on the exact issues you are facing. I created this platform for You. We all have our own crazy pasts and lives. But there is a lot of us who look like we have it all together, maybe it is success or family and people look up to us but it almost feels hollow. Like your an imposter and you feel horrible to be used as an example because deep down you don't feel that way. Your not alone. If you’ve read my book “I’ll Be Happy When….” You know I struggled with this most of my life. I had the things that most people dream of yet I would still say I’ll be happy when I get that house or or … It’s not about your external world, it’s all about whats inside. Because no matter what I did when I got to my “I’ll Be Happy When” moment I still wasn’t happy I usually didn’t even acknowledge that I made it to that point I just moved onto the next “I’ll Be Happy When.. As I started sharing my story with people I realized I wasn’t alone. People from all walks of life, income levels and different backgrounds were struggling with the same things. I set out and created a formula, a way to beat those voices in my head to finally be able to enjoy my life and to be truly happy. Once I started putting all the pieces of the puzzle together I realized this was to powerful not to share.
